::  Child Rights Advocacy & Judicial Assistance:

As one of organisation’s major objectives, ASSIST-RWANDA personnel kept on re-sensitising the children on their rights. This was done through sports competition in football, volleyball, and basketball by all beneficiaries. In this regard, organisation’s cultural troupe based at Nyagatare disseminated the information through sketches, music, dance and drama.

The organisation offered medical help to fifteen (15) abused and exploited children by providing treatment and Judicial assistance to them. Other six (6) other cases were amicably settled under ASSIST-RWANDA mediation whereby the elders of the family wanted to sell children’s property with out the children’s consent.
